My current campaigns:
- Paladin (completed). I did a lot of save scumming during this playthrough; not so much to pick alternative dialogues but when I failed at lockpicking, disarming traps and the like. I avoided most of the companion quests as much as possible because I plan to play campaigns with all origin characters, focusing on the individual campaign. For the same reason I have not spoken to many animals or corpses - reserved for other playthroughs. Pretty much the only companion quest I did was Shadowheart, partly because she always was in the party and partly because I wanted to romance her.
- gnome Druid; speaking to as many animals as I can possibly find
- Dark Urge Lolth sworn Drow sorcerer...and as a drow I give in to the urge at every opportunity of course.
- Half orc barbarian - strength rules!

I also started a halfling bard, dwarven monk and dragonborn ranger, but these campaigns are all at the state of picking up Shadowheart after the crash.

I'm not savescumming in any of my current campaigns.

A multiplayer campaign with a couple of friends is in the making as well.

Helps when you got a combat system that makes a 1 minute fight a 15 minute fight.

It's funny how people come up with playtime so much in a game that is incredible slow.

When you take all the other cRPGs out there and just make the combat system sh*t as in BG3, they would also multiply the time you need for it.

By the way: 430hours is almost 18 days, 27 days when you sleep 8 hours a day. The game came out 28 days ago.

You played BG3 every single minute of the day for the last month? Really? If that's true, better go to a therapist...

Don’t expect the level of story telling or immersion from divinity 2 especially cutscenes or clear storytelling.
despite this it has really great storymoments but especially act2 drags.
BUT i actually think that the battle system in DoS2 is better and more fun than BG3!
it’s not DnD but their own rules and it’s f*cking great.
the synergy between effects and different abilities is much bigger and the combos are much more unique and fun.
Also some riddles are way better.
And some possible character builds are much more unique and special
i really miss my glass canon thief build in BG3 it was so much fun

EDIT: I actually think that act1 of divinity2 is more atmospheric than act1 of BG3
the open prison atmosphere fits the gameplay very good

@Xantexhunter

Campaigns I have going atm:

Half-Elf Paladin, Lawful good (Completed)
Drow Lockadin, Neutral Evil (Act 1)
DUrge Ranger, Chaotic Evil (Act 1)
DUrge Druid, Neutral Good (Act 2)
Tiefling Ranger, Lawful Evil (Act 1)

Its pretty apparent that I have issues with evil playthroughs.

Thanks for watching!

@LoudAngryJerk

I am also running about 4 or 5 campaigns at once, although part of that is just because my world state in one of them was so deeply f*cked, I had to start over

@zarrowthehorse

isnt that trailer cinematic a spoiler for those who havent played the game fully? i had to scroll down not to see it lol

@Tik1F

@@LoudAngryJerk That would drive me insane since im organizing inventories for each character and camp chest and hauling defeated opponents into that box just to organize them too , i think im obsessed with the inventory managment and curse the person who designed those small inventory UIs and scrollbar for them.

@LegendaryDrops

@zarrowthenorse4584 Everyone has different opinions on what is / isn't spoilers. I try to make sure most of my videos only contain combat or dialog / cinematics from act 1 since the first act has been out for over 3 years now. Appreciate that you still watched and just scrolled down though!

Imho the difference is that greed is not their primary concern when planning and executing their project. Their responses feel honest and genuine because they are. As compared to the corrupted studios where the responses have to be crafted with intention to spin the truth.

I remember reading an official patch note that fixed an issue when using the lv 20 multiclass mod. They literally patched something in their game so that a mod can work better. THAT is amazing

@blackpaisley5156

Larian is very open about mod support. Hard to find developers like that.

@OneTrueNobody

@@blackpaisley5156 Western RPG developers in general tend to be pretty pro-modding-community. I think part of it might be that a lot of them experienced the Neverwinter Nights community back when it was fresh and new, and may even have gotten their start as developers there.

Larian's a fair bit too old for that, but they definitely know the spirit of it. Both Divinity: Original Sin games come with toolsets you can access via Steam (the "Divinity Engine," which you can access under Tools). I'm pretty sure the only reason BG3 doesn't have something similar is because Wizards of the Coast has their own VTT project going.

@TheRosgath

@OneTrueNobody While that's a possibility, I don't think that WotC has that much influence that they can shut down Larian if they said they were going to make a GM mode for BG3. Given how Larian has acted though, they might be avoiding that since WotC has been... erratic lately.
